Thanks Ed. An excellent Assassin for the new year! Quite a lot of early progress but then it resists right to the end!

Thanks for the 'excellent' ratings from both Andrew and wellbeback. Their summaries exactly say what I felt about this puzzle, "Quite a lot of early progress but then it resists right to the end!", and "Many moves that were quite straightforward in principle were well hidden."
