I also have no plans for packing up ...

We need to find something to increase the popularity of these threads however.

I posted my Regular Samurai #76 5 days ago ... Immediately after posting it, I posted a reply in this thread pushing it ahead of my thread in the list which is ordered chronologically according to the time of latest post..... guess what the outcome is ?I Only 9 views to my thread (3 were actually by me) ...

I AGREE WHOLEHEARTEDLY!
I have been thinking along the same path and have been wrecking my brain for some time.
Unfortunately no brilliant ideas have presented themselves. :brickwall:

... and 1 or 2 by me.

Personally I think people are a bit behind solving our puzzles. This is another reason I only do RCE and RCS puzzles every second week.
After a while the number of views creep up to above 30.
I have not yet tried your Regular Samurai #76, but this is the only one, and I will try it over the weekend.

What really bothers me is that some of the old enthusiastic members like Oscar, Glyn, enxio27 and jsmif do not seem to be around anymore. They have not logged in for months.

Do bot views count into the number of views ?

Tarek and Borge,

I wonder if people are just creating their own puzles now and doing them, what with the software that is available. Perhaps the sudoku craze has peaked. I hope the later isn't the case., though.

JC seems to have disappeared, so JSudoku is not going to be revised. Richard is still here, since the forum is still here. He told me in a recent email that he is very busy with work related items. I had asked him about adding the JSudoku Wing(3) pattern to SS. I suspect he may be able to do that sometime in the future.

Thanks to both of you for your efforts to make puzzles available to the sudoku community and to Richard for hosting the forum.

Regards,
George
