Finished the novice puzzle last night. A nice puzzle, not too easy, just right on solving time (other than the fact that I made mistakes on TWO grids after completing the center grid and had to redo them  ). I usually do these right before bed, and sometimes push the tiredness factor a little too far.

I have a few more novice puzzles in my stack, and then I'll tackle the apprentice edition of this one.

Well done on managing both puzzles here & #114 despite the time constraints.

I'm hoping to find some time in the near future & get back to creating hight quality puzzles.

That would be awesome! Please don't forget the Apprentice level puzzles. The Novice editions are starting to get too easy for me, I think. It's rare that I encounter even an X-wing, and rarer still that it actually eliminates candidates. I'm not ready for the Master level yet, though.

I finished the Apprentice level version of this puzzle today. Very nice puzzle, but it pointed up a drawback in pencil solving (at least for me).

I thought I was stuck at one point, and got SudokuSolver to help me with a hint. It turns out that I had completely missed a naked triple (which I am usually quite adept at finding) solely because the puzzle had become so cluttered with my scratched-out pencil marks. Either I'm going to have to work much more neatly (sometimes a challenge when getting sleepy or puzzle-working in a moving vehicle), or else resign myself to occasionally reprinting a puzzle in its partially-solved state to get rid of the clutter.
