Wow - 10 grids are daunting! After several false starts with making incorrect eliminations on the locked candidates in the related grids, I decided to cheat and just do SudokuSolver All Simpler (SSAS) so I could just do the hard stuff. Don't think I'll do it like that again since it's not as satisfying somehow. I also suspect it made finding step 2 of this walkthrough much harder. Thanks Børge for making this master level puzzle. Regular Clueless Explosion 65C (Master) Walkthrough [edit: but didn't quite get to the destination with the original WT! Thanks Børge] Hidden Text: Ed

Ed, Thanks for another WT. Unfortunately I believe that it is not complete. When following your WT I ended up with grid 3 unsolved, and need a second advanced technique to get it solved. Select to view grid number. Your step 1 is what I call a "Two String Kite" and is a very nice alternative to one of the two Skyscraper indicated in my puzzle specification. But I still need the second Skyscraper indicated in my puzzle specification to also get grid 3 solved. I know that I am almost a week behind with Regular Clueless Explosion #66 So I better hurry up and make it. |
