motris Tom-Tom Broken Mirror: 3 Operator

Thomas has just put up a very pleasant algebraic killer which he calls Broken Mirror at:

http://motris.livejournal.com/ (lots of other good things there).

Generally his puzzles are competition orientated so not really hard enough for this forum.

As always with these I prefer them as either no-operator or frame.

Given the symmetries No-Op is not possible hence this one is reduced to three operators.

The inequality applies to the cells not the cages.

Like DJApe motris alows -/÷ cages to have more than two cells (I agree with this approach).

Horizontally symmetric cages are in pairs of either +/* or -/÷ - (this restriction may not be necessary for solution).

Yeah I remember doing this puzzle a couple weeks ago. I probably found it a paper solvable with the operators.

Note you didn't get the essense of the "broken mirror" when you used the '*' and "divide" operators instead of 'x' and '/'. In his original layout '+' is always opposite to 'x' and '-' is always opposite to '/', i.e. the operators are always rotated 45 degrees on the opposite side.

Will try your version soon and see how much tougher it is.

Thanks Simon, you are right that I did not get that - I just saw the number reflection.
