There are two clues different:

1. The red clue in R2C8

2. The lowered clue in R5C5

Also, you gave us "Clue 2" but there was no "Clue 1". Is that supposed to mean anything?

The lowered clue in r5c5 is a typo.

The Clue 2 bit is a "work it out".

Some thoughts:

1. "BS" might stand for "Binary Sudoku".

2. The Clue 2 bit is a "work it out". - I see "2 bit", which might mean it is a 2-bit Binary Sudoku (each cell contains a 2-bit binary number). There could be duplicate numbers on each row/column/region.

3. If I convert each binary number to decimal number like the following, would it be relevant?

I've just found a useful new site. I've been reading XKCD cartoons for about 5 years and only fully get about half of them. Given the existance of this site I'm not alone in the world.
