Hi All,

Please see the puzzle at djape.net for 27 Jan 2010. Note that this puzzle has:
a. regular 3x3 nonets
b. jigsaw nonets

Using JSudoku, I was able to enter the "b" portion of the puzzle, but not "a" and "b" together.

I saved the "b" portion and was easily able to paste it into SudokuSolver to work on it. Of course, the "a" portion was not included.

Is there a way, to work on this puzzle using SudokuSolver (with or without JSudoku) that has both "a" and "b" included?

Regards,
George

In JSudoku select each jigsaw group and either enter it as a twin killer group (using the C button) or
go to design > extra groups > new extra group

Hope this helps

Hi Maurice,
Thanks for the tip. I will try that.

Can this puzzle, then, be pasted into SudokuSolver? Perhaps SS doesn't support this variant?

Thanks again for the prompt reply.

Regards,
George
