Frame CanCan 3 I've come up with a KenKen variant - sort of opposite of no-operator. The usual KenKen rules apply (so remember there can be repeats in cages) - however for each cage you are only told the operator. In addition the frame numbers on the right give the horizontal sum of the cage totals and the frame numbers at the bottom give the vertical sum of the cage totals. If you wish you can try two easier ones first on DJApe's site at: http://www.djape.net/sudoku/forum/viewt ... =9818#9818 The one below is hard and has some interesting combination work on both cage totals and cage values - I believe the assassin addicts will enjoy it. It is based on Times KenKen for adults 9, however in this formulation it is not unique; there are three solutions. To make it unique I've added the constraint that r1c5 is not 6. I solved it without using this fact until the last move. It probably makes it slightly easier if you use this in the solution process. I enjoyed solving it but it took me a long time. I'm going to try to do a Killer X on this basis - not sure how it will work out. |

Nice puzzle. It's also unique without the no 6. Kinda concluded by me and udosuk(mostly him) on djape's forum already. Try it, it'll be fun. |
