How do I deploy a filename to retrieve a puzzle.

djape is one of the sudoku sites I do NOT like:

• Difficult to navigate.
• Completely unintuitive UI.
• Worst puzzle archive I have ever seen.
• Completely chaotic.
• Far too much commercials.

The filenames for the samurai are clickable, because those puzzles are available indefinitely, even though djape has a link to only the latest one on his site. The filenames for the daily puzzles are good for only a week on djape's site, so I haven't made them clickable. I do download the puzzles a couple of times per week, so I have all the puzzles listed. I'll be glad to send you the whole batch, if you like. Note that I do not collect the killer, calcudoku (a.k.a. kendoku, kenken, square wisdom), or hidoku puzzles, but I think udosuk does.


Agreed! It used to be reasonably good until he got into selling books of his puzzles on Lulu. Now the only sudoku puzzles on his site are the samurai and the jigsaw. (His "straights" appear to be an interesting variation, but I haven't tried them yet, although I have been collecting them.)

Send a private message on the djape.net forum to udosuk. I believe he collects all the djape killers. Another is HATMAN.

Sorry I only keep occasional ones and have changed computers three times in the last couple of years. Udosuk probably has them, but I know he is busy at the moment.

You would be best to ask directly on DJApes Killer stream, as I know quite a few others keep them.

As far as DJApe's site is concerned it's my homebase so I do not always notice the flaws. However Sudoku for some of us is a (fanatical) hobby but for others it is a business, and I have no problem with that. However upgrading his website as suggested might help with his marketing.

I've come up with a variant overlapping idea and I'll post a vanilla version on the Samurai stream in the next few weeks (it takes me a bit longer to make vanilla ones).
