To go along with my thread on WebSudoku.com variant puzzles, I thought I'd post a list of the daily puzzle filenames from djape.net. (As usual, I'm leaving the killer, kakuro, calcudoku, etc. to someone else to catalog.) If anyone has any puzzles earlier than these, please send me the files/links!

In 2008, the daily puzzle was usually a consecutive/non-consecutive but sometimes a greater-than/less-than or a windoku. Starting in late January 2009, the daily puzzle is a jigsaw on Monday-Thursday, and a "sudoku straight" on Friday, with an occasional consecutive/non-consecutive thrown in for good measure.

No puzzles are posted on Sundays, and only a samurai is posted on Saturdays. Tuesdays get TWO puzzles, a samurai (on the samurai page) and another variant (on the daily page). The samurai puzzles became bi-weekly in June 2008.

The samurai are posted on Tuesdays and Saturdays, but there are no links on the site to previous weeks' puzzles. However, they are available for a short time if you know the filename.

Links to the daily puzzles are good for ONE WEEK ONLY. Efforts to get djape to extend this time limit have been refused.

Note: I do have these puzzles saved to my computer, so if you missed one, I'll be glad to send it to you (provided I'm not flooded with requests). Thanks to udosuk and Nasenbaer, I have the daily puzzles back to 3 Dec 2007. As with the samurai, if you have any earlier ones, please send me the files!

There are six variants of flower sudoku and seven variants of samurai sudoku at the following links, but only the latest of each type has a link on the sites. I've posted file names in the next few posts to this thread.

djape used to post these weekly, but near as I can tell, he stopped posting new puzzles to these sites in December 2007.

Again, thanks to udosuk and Nasenbaer, I have all of the puzzles listed in the posts below, but if anyone has earlier puzzles, I would appreciate receiving them.
