Thanks,
George

Hi George, Just a little help:
To place the first number:
Well, to begin the different possibilities are:
9+(3)={144,234}
6+(3)={114,123}
12x(3)={134,223}
6x(3)={123}
48x(4)={1344,2234}
First we can eliminate this last option, because {2234} colapses with the only {123} option for 6x.
So no 2 at 48x. Then 2 at R4 has to be from this {123} and only 2 at R3 has to be R3C2=2.
So far to place the first number.

Enjoy the continuation.

Oscar,

Thanks so much for the tip. That was a neat trick that I wished I had seen. I am sort of new to these type of puzzles, but that one had me stumped.

I will add that trick to things that I check for.

Your answer was prompt and right on! Thanks again.

George
