I would love to try the 39 grid puzzle. But not without Richard's program. His only goes up to 21 or something like that.

I used to do Samurais on 5 separate pices of paper. That was hard enough to keep track. But this monster?

Maybe if everyone begs and grovels, Richard will add it someday to his collection of overlap puzzle suppoort. :bouncy: :bouncy: :bouncy: :salute: :salute: :applause:
You might notice that SudokuSolver has a little option for "New" next to the Puzzle Type in the Gattai setup. It doesn't do anything yet, but one day, it will allow you to design your own multi-grid layouts.

Thanks, Richard. I saw your message above after my email to you.
Fun for the future! :applause:

Richard, I was going to ask you about what "New" is supposed to do. I thought it someday would generate a NEW puzzle. The option for designing/constructing a new puzzle should perhaps be labeled "Design" or "Construct" ?

I'm trying #172 on the website. It looks like an out-of-phase Sohei puzzle. It looks really weird, and it's messing with my head.
