Post subject:  Amazing views count
Andrew pointed out to me that the view count for the Archive D thread in the Killer forum (page 5 of the forum) is really high. Since then I've been keeping an eye on it and it's been increasing by at least 100 per day. Anyone have a clue as to why? If you click here you can see the full list of puzzles in that archive.

I wonder whether a spider bot (such as Googlebot) is hitting it frequently and increasing the count.

It seems to have stopped going up now - after a couple of thousand views added very quickly.

Enxio27, I seem to recall Richard telling me once that the forums are configured so that the bots don't count in the views. So, we should be getting fairly accurate counts based on people only. In that case, people somewhere have been having fun in there. Nice!
