The purpose of Cross+A is to simplify the solution of puzzles (word-based and logic). The program can solve and generate many kinds of puzzles. The created puzzle can be saved as a graphic file (Windows Bitmap, Windows Metafile, GIF, JPEG, PNG and CorelDRAW formats are supported). Also the batch creating of puzzles is available.

In the Cross-A program, can specific solving techniques be included in the generated puzzles? Foe example, if one wants puzzles that have and x-wing and empty rectangle techniques in them, can an option be set for this?

The version 8.22 is available for downloading. It contains new variations of Sudoku:
  • Sudoku Mine (6 x 6, 9 x 9)
  • Killer Sudoku (6 x 6, 8 x 8)
  • Greater Than Sudoku (6 x 6, 8 x 8)
  • Even-Odd Sudoku (6 x 6, 8 x 8)
