I'm trying to figure out how to import SumoCue code for a Two-Doku Jigsaw (thread here). SudokuSolver gives me a "Bad Import String" error, even if I try to import just one grid at a time. SumoCue gives me an error message, as well.

I'm trying to enter the puzzle manually, but there are several nonets that overlap the two grids, and I can't figure out how to get them entered. I'm trying to do it in Extended mode, but even with the Extended radio button marked, the mode still shows as Standard Jigsaw, and I'm not getting the extended puzzle region display.

I tried to save what I'd entered, and it the .SSV file appears to be ok, but SudokuSolver won't load the file. It just gives me a file load error, "File not loaded".

Is there a program error, or SudokuSolver can't handle jigsaw gattai yet, or am I just not understanding something?

I know I can just print the puzzle from the above-mentioned thread, but I was hoping to have SudokuSolver work out the pencil marks for me, as well as printing the puzzle larger.

I'm afraid I haven't yet got SS set up to handle Jigsaw or Killer Gattai. The basic structures are ready in the solver, but I have yet to implement the UI changes.

OK, as long as it isn't me or a program error.

will those changes be implemented any time soon?? i really like your program but haven't used it very much because my current obsession has been the killer gattai puzzles.

Maybe it's time I got around to some updates to the program. Things have still been overly hectic at work and I've been de-stressing with the guitar rather than programming.

I'll dust off my notebook and take a look at the designs I'd sketched out for implementation.

Do you have any good examples of a killer gattai? And any idea if there's an accepted convention for killer gattai definition strings?

the only killer gattai's i have with definition strings are the ones i've generated in Jsudoku. i attached a butterfly killer that i've had made recently as an example and below should be the code
