Is the Sudocue download 3.1.0.1 still available? I'm coming across a broken link when I try to download it...

There's a newer version out, 3.2.0.0. Is there a reason you want the earlier version?

Where can I download the latest version? I mistakenly thought 3.1.0.1 was the latest version.

You are correct that ver. 3.1.0.1 is the latest version listed on his Web site. As I recall, Ruud sent ver. 3.2.0.0 to me directly several years ago, before he "disappeared" from the sudoku scene. All of the software on Ruud's page, as well as a large portion of his puzzle repository, was in his sudokuvault.org domain, which, sadly, no longer exists.

I have uploaded the installation package for 3.2.0.0 here. It's the only version I have available. (Let me know if the link doesn't work for you--it should be publicly available.)

Crud! Try this one:

What are you trying to do with SudoCue? Have you looked at Richard's SudokuSolver (hosted here)? Perhaps it can do what you want, as well, and SudokuSolver is still being developed.

Thanks for the link to the lost version of Sudocue. Any idea what was different in this version as compared to the last one posted at Ruud's website?

I still wonder how Ruud is doing and what he is up to.

One question. What is the button with the two dots in it for? This is the button after the 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 buttons just above the puzzle itself.

Thanks again,
George

Unfortunately, I don't recall specifics. He sent this to me probably 4.5 or 5 years ago. I can see whether I have an email from him describing the changes, but it may take me a while to dig back that far.

I think we all do. :( All we know is that as of early 2008, he was alive and well, but apparently no longer interested in sudoku.

It toggles a watch. I don't use that feature (don't solve puzzles on computer), so I really don't know how it's used.

I want to manually enter pencil marks from 1-9. I tried clicking on the link you gave me above and it is broken. Just curious...Is there a time limit to how long you can keep it up on a webpage? Maybe I was too late.

Darn!! Link still didn't work? I don't have any trouble whatsoever posting image links from that account. I have no idea why this should be any different, except that Windows considers it an executable, so it's a little trickier to actually obtain the link.

Will this work:
